On Monday 21st of August, Stockholm will open its doors to the The Stockholm Act and we want to invite you to the opening ceremony at Stora scen, Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, starting 1 pm.

The mayor of Stockholm Karin Wanngård and Ardalan Shekarabi, Minister for Public Administration and Head of the Swedish Delegation for the 2030 Agenda, will welcome you to this afternoon of exciting meetings between different dimensions. Among the speakers are Johan Rockström, Malawian artist Samson Kambalu, Gunhild Stordalen, Isabella Lövin, José González and Peter Sellars.

Live on stage: Big Fox

Tickets will be released on Monday August 14, at 1pm – a “don’t miss”-thing

The opening will be centred around a conversation with Swedish and international speakers on how Sweden and Stockholm can make the most out of the extraordinary qualities we can bring forward. These include the power in a young generation that consider climate questions to be the most important to solve, the well-known Swedish competence in design and an ability to conceive elegant solutions and new societal systems. It includes a long experience in sustainability work, internationally-leading science on sustainability, and a beautiful nature and culture that gives possibilities for deep contact with sustainability issues.

The Stockholm Act brings art, science, business and politics together, in order to contribute to a broad mobilisation around the Agenda 2030 for sustainable development.

Join the Act today, and we can get started.
