SDG13: Climate Action
As part of The Stockholm Act, Impact Hub Stockholm will host a discussion platform on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The objective of the platform is to bring together key players in order to discuss global challenges and foster collaboration to enable grassroots co-creation and move towards actionable solutions.
We will bring together people from art, science, politics and business for a week-long festival that explores the steps we can take to build a sustainable future. Based upon consultation with over 70 stakeholders, Impact Hub Stockholm will focus the discussion on three key SDGs: 4. Quality Education, 12. Responsible Consumption and Production, and 13. Climate Action.
The three concepts that the platform is built around are: connect, inspire, and enable. At Impact Hub Stockholm we are passionate about shaping the world of tomorrow.
During the 3 hour workshop we will discuss each theme separately, for this edition we will explore Climate Action.
Increasing population in conjunction with increasing inequality will eventually result in increased competition for resources essential to survival, such as land and water. This competition, exacerbated by resource scarcity and mass migration, which are the inevitable consequences of climate change, will incite a bleak future. We need to increase our efforts and develop local strategies that can be carried out to make an impact in our homes and neighbourhoods. Please register for the event using the link below.
